A five day road trip to the Oregon coast, with fantastic daily hiking to various lookouts - Arch Cape, Cape Meares, Cape Lookout, and Cape Kiwanda, with the lovely town of Manzanita as headquarters.
The painting 'No.3 Safety Matches' was recently chosen by Sandra Fraser, Curator at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon for a Jurors Choice Award at the 2012 Sidney Fine Art Show. The Sidney Fine Art show is one of the largest juried exhibitions in Western Canada and this year received over 1,100 submissions from which the 377 pieces in the show were selected. During the four day event, the painting 'No.3 Safety Matches' sold, and will be going to a private residence on Salt Spring Island.
